The Tiscon S Super Ductile has strength and quality beyond normal rebar, the strength of TATA TISCON S Super Ductile rebars is make for earthquake resistance by possess a tremendous capacity to absorb energy beyond the yeild limits.The high uniform elongation ensures that even after large plastic deformation, the rebars do not start `necking` – a phenomenon which initiates ultimate failure. Moreover, they restrict and certify nitrogen levels as per latest international norms for high quality rebars which in turn improve the torsional properties.
The Blue Color at the end of the rod is show that the rebars are grade SCM440 which is alloy steel containing moderate amounts of carbon (0.40% ). It also contains chrome / molybdenum. SCM440 has more strength than S45C (rebar with Red Color at the end rod). The corrosion resistance of SCM440 also has much higher than S45C. Sometime you might see the end rod of rebars doesn’t have color that because those bar are supply by local steel factory that made only one grade of rebar so they doesn’t have to label the bar. But TataTiscon Thailand and Tata Tiscon World are international steel factory that made various grades of steel so they have to color to label the products.
